Tony Izzi III


Tony was first introduced to the food service industry as a young boy at the family's business, Tony's Ice Cream of Shelby, NC. From his teen years of burning burgers on the grill to now slow smoking practically everything, Tony's experience comes from trial and error and his desire for opening people's tastebuds to over-the-top barbeque. After many years of contemplating the idea of cooking for the public, he found himself and his daughter in the perfect situation to finally follow his dream!

Ashley's love for event planning and hospitality began in high school when she hosted her very first event, the 2005 senior prom dinner, for a group of her closest friends. She followed her dream straight to Western Carolina University where she received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management. After eleven years in the industry, Ashley moved back home to Shelby, NC, to open her own business with her dad, Tony Izzi III, and Izzi 'Que Barbeque was born.
